Presenting Pain:

The department had grown very quickly.  SVP needed to strengthen the department’s management structure to ensure continued growth and delivery of quality services, as well as begin doing effective succession planning so that he could ultimately move to new areas of responsibility.

Client’s Objective:

The department’s Senior VP wanted to strengthen the leadership capabilities of his team of VPs.

Our Involvement:

Business Success Tools LLC provided the following leadership training and coaching services and tools:

• Executive leadership coaching program  to the Senior VP
• Two teamwork assessment tools to help each VP understand his or her behaviors and attitudes
• Senior leadership team coaching by facilitating group sessions to strengthen senior leadership team and provide individual insights

Results:

• Through the executive leadership coaching program, the SVP was able to create a much crisper strategy and plan for his business operations
• The SVP believed he became a better coach and mentor for his own leadership team so that he could do more effective succession planning
• Using the teamwork assessment tools, the SVP and VPs gained new insight into their own personal values and motivators, which helped them become more effective leaders
• The senior leadership team coaching work helped the SVP and VPs become much more adept at working with people with different behavioral styles
