Years ago, I heard Ellen DeGeneres interview Donald Trump.  A down turn in the real estate market along with several other unfortunate events had left him millions of dollars in the red.  Ellen asked him, "How were you able to get yourself together and get back on track?"

Here's the essence of Mr. Trump's reply. 

PASSION.  It is essential for people to do what they are passionate about each and every day.  When you find your passion and love what you do, you can have the energy to work through the difficult times.

What a person values is key to being satisfied, motivated and fulfilled.  Having an appreciation for what you value improves morale, retention and engagement on the job, but an understanding of the values will also make an impact on your personal life as well.
